We have two levels of membership namely Regular and Associate membership.

Regular membership is open to any Electrical Inspector registered under the NZ Electricity Act, or members of the appropriate NZ Government department or Crown agency.

Associate membership is open to persons who are involved in:

• Teaching within the Electricity Industry
  
• Administration or interpretation of the Electricity Regulations
  
• Retired Electrical Inspectors
  
• Electrical Engineers
  

Associate members must be elected by a simple majority at a general meeting and shall have no voting rights and their membership shall be reviewed at each Annual General Meeting.
